• Bhairab Ganguly College was Accredited grade B by NAAC.

Sports Awards :

• MOU DAS of B.A 1st Yr. awarded the First Prize of Inter College Athletic Meet in 400mt & 800mt run which was held at Post Graduate Government Institute for Physical Education, Banipur on 16 & 17th December`2015.Prof. Basab Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of West Bengal State University was present on the prize distribution day. Mou Das  was selected for 76th All India Inter University Athletic Meet which was held at Punjabi University, Patiala and qualifed for the semi final stage.

• Sk. Shahajan of B.A 3rd Year awarded the First prize of Inter College Athletic Meet 2015-2016 in Javeline Throw.

• Prasenjit Saha of B.A 2nd yr. awarded the 2nd prize of Inter College Athletic Meet 2015-2016 in Putting the Shot. He also awarded the 3rd prize in North 24 parganas District athletic Meet. Famous  Indian Athletic Coach Dr. Kuntal Saha and noted Athlete Shushmita Singha Roy was present at the prize distribution occasion.

• The College team represented the north 24 Parganas District Inter College Football Championship 2016 Which was held at Sree Chaitanya College Habra.
